Classroom Rules and Guidelines

In Technology, students are expected to:

• Treat everyone in the room with respect
• Treat equipment with respect
• Stay on websites/programs related to the current lesson/assignment
• Ask permission before leaving the room

Students are also taught some guidelines about interacting with the online world from a Catholic perspective such as:

• All people are made by God and thus deserve to be treated with respect and kindness
• Once you post something, even if deleted, it may not ever really be “gone”
• Who you are online is part of who you are in the real world, so choose your actions wisely
